Lipo 500mAh 3.7v battery
Lithium polymer batteries are perfect for giving extra power to projects due to their small weight compared to the amount of current they can produce.
Being very light and small, they can still output up to 4.2v with the nominal voltage of 3.7v which is more than enough for any 3.3-5v micro controllers such as the Adafruit Flora.
Use only a dedicated LiPoly charger for charging these batteries to protect from accidental explosion or fires! A charger for this battery is available here. Do not use a NiMH, NiCad or Lead Acid charger with Li-Ion or LiPoly batteries.

Note:
These batteries do not have a hard protective case. You should take care when housing the batteries to ensure they have sufficient mechanical protection to protect the battery from any possible damage. If a battery does become damaged (dented, bent, etc) then it should not be used.
The included protection circuitry keeps the battery voltage from going too high (over-charging) or low (over-use) which means that the battery will cut-out when completely dead at 3.0V. It will also protect against output shorts.
